For starters, the new Jeep Gladiator has unmatched crawl ratios, and the ability to run in water up to 30 inches deep. Feel like towing and payloading? How does 7,650 pounds of towing capability and 1,600 pounds of payload capacity sound? It just shows you how really stout the new Jeep Gladiator really is.
Behind the Crew Cab configuration lies a five-foot steel bed with a covered external power supply and integrated tie-downs for cargo security. In front of it is the traditional Jeep grille and a modern, swept-back folding windshield for off-road purists. On top of all of this, the Gladiator is the only true, open-air 4x4 pickup truck with easy-to-use premium soft-top as well as two hardtops.
The Gladiator is powered by a choice of two engines including the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a standard six-speed manual or optional eight-speed automatic transmission.
The second choice is a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine. Rated at 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque with standard eight-speed automatic transmission to handle the load generated by the Diesel's extra torque.

- Jeep Gladiator Mojave represents the ultimate in high-speed off-road capability and performance in sand environments and is the first to earn the brand's Desert Rated badge. Mojave is equipped with high-performance FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks, reservoirs, industry-first FOX front hydraulic jounce bumpers, rear locking differential, and 33-inch tires.
- Overland models include the Command-Trac NV241 part-time, two-speed transfer case, which features a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio. Optional Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential provides extra torque and grip in low-traction environments, such as sand, mud, or snow.
- Sport S models have a power locking tailgate, power heated mirrors, and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Sport S also comes standard with 17-inch aluminum painted tech silver metallic wheels.
- At the base level, the Jeep Gladiator comes standard with tow hooks, skid plates, and 17-inch steel low gloss black wheels.
